Why this work is different
Research papers, theses, course descriptions and supporting academic material require disciplinary terminology and careful handling of citations, tables and institutional language.
Certification is separate from translation complexity
A long legal, medical, financial or technical translation may or may not need certification. The receiving organization decides whether a certified translator, affidavit, notarization or another formal step is required.
What to send
Send the complete file when possible, or enough representative material to show the language, formatting and terminology. Include the intended use, receiving organization and deadline so the project can be scoped correctly.
