Why this work is different
Recorded evidence can require transcription and translation together. Speaker labels, timestamps and uncertain or overlapping speech need a consistent method so the translated transcript remains useful for legal, immigration, investigation or business review.
Certification is separate from translation complexity
A long legal, medical, financial or technical translation may or may not need certification. The receiving organization decides whether a certified translator, affidavit, notarization or another formal step is required.
What to send
Send the complete file when possible, or enough representative material to show the language, formatting and terminology. Include the intended use, receiving organization and deadline so the project can be scoped correctly.
